Where have the last 6 months gone? I cannot believe that on Tuesday, October 4th, we celebrated Rylan's 6 month birthday! It seems like yesterday, Robbie and I were holding him for the first time. He is such a joy to our family and loves his big sister so much! Robbie and I can make him laugh easily, but Kaelyn can just look at him and he laughs wholeheartedly. He is in full teething mode now and loves to have something in his hands to gnaw on at all times. Rylan coos and makes all kinds of new sounds now. I even heard a da and ga yesterday. He can almost sit up completely on his own and also eats cereal now. He's still not a huge fan of the cereal though, but I'm almost certain that when he starts eating veggies and fruits (which we got the okay for Thursday at the doctor), he'll change his mind about solid foods.

Sunday, October 2nd was also a very special day for our family. Rylan was dedicated at church that morning and all of our family and friends were there to support us! We were especially excited that Brice, our cousin, was in the audience for the dedication since he is Rylan's namesake! Rylan was especially precious because as our children's minister was talking about him, he decided to give a huge smile. We even thought he might squeal into the microphone!
Rylan Brice, we pray daily for you and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for you as you continue to grow in your christian walk with Him. We love you so much!
